Access Cyborg from an SQL database

DBCreate enables users to access Cyborg data from an SQL or Access database with a user friendly query program. Reports and extracts can be generated without any programming knowledge which means users can create their own reports instead of having to rely upon the programming staff. 

DBCreate is a great tool for accessing a legacy Cyborg file since no special knowledge or training is required to access the file.
DBCreate is a two part system. The front part extracts specific data from the Cyborg database into either an SQL database or an Access database depending on the preference of the user. Once the database has been created, the user can use DBCreate's user friendly query system to easily generate reports.

Generate reports with a user friendly query

Reports and extracts can be easily created using DBCreate's query system. Use drag and drop to define the report layout. Click on radio buttons to select options. Reports can be generated without having to type any code.

 

Just drag the fields from the table above into the data table below to build the report. Selection options, summary routine, heading changes, etc. can easily be added just by righ-clicking on the desired field.

Customize your database



Define extract routines that select only the Cyborg segments needed for reporting. The number of occurences of each segment can also be defined.

Create reports, extract files or Excel files

Query programs can generate report files, extract files or Excel files that can imported into an Excel spreadsheet. Reports can be resorted while viewing and then printed. Once a report is developed it can be saved and run on a regular basis without having to do through the development process again.
